Built In Honors Vestmark in Its Esteemed 2024 Best Places To Work Awards

Vestmark recognized as Built In Boston’s Best Places to Work, as well as Best Midsize Places to Work on list now in its sixth year

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Jan. 22, 2024 — Vestmark, Inc., a leading provider of wealth management software and services, today announced it has been named a ‘Best Place to Work’ by Built In Boston, the online community for startups and tech companies. Vestmark also was named one of the ‘Best Midsize Places to Work’ for the third year in a row. The annual awards program includes companies of all sizes, and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in large tech markets across the U.S.

"Congratulations to the entire team for their effort to make Vestmark a highly engaged, collaborative and supportive work environment," said Nick Thurlow, Vestmark’s Chief People Officer. "We’re honored to be recognized as a top workplace in an incredibly competitive technology industry. Our strong culture and values set us apart in the eyes of our people. As we continue onward and upward, we remain committed to fostering an environment where every employee can reach their full potential, both personally and professionally."

Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation and benefits. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.

Vestmark employees have access to a broad range of professional development resources, including product and management training and support rotations. The company culture is best described through its four core values that drive hiring, performance, and compensation, which include: 1) We Before Me – put needs of the team first, aspire to bring out the best in others; 2) Knowledge Explorers – pro-actively solve problems, adapting to challenges at hand using creative collaboration; 3) Positive Energy – bring levity and a glass half full mentality to work daily; and 4) Own It – we understand, we empathize and we are accountable to the end.

In 2023, Vestmark was recognized at the WealthManagement.com Industry Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Direct Indexing for its breakthrough solution VAST™, a new outsourced portfolio management service focused on personalization at scale. The firm also won the 2023 ThinkAdvisor LUMINARIES Award for Financial and Investment Innovation, in its category, Fintech/TAMP Platforms.*

“I’d like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 2024 Best Places to Work winners,” said Maria Christopoulos Katris, founder and CEO of Built In. “I am truly inspired by these companies that have risen to the challenge of fostering a positive work environment, maintaining a strong brand, and ensuring employee satisfaction. The future is filled with promise, and we are so excited to see what lies ahead.”

*A panel of independent judges made up of top names in the industry determined the winners. The best in each category were selected based on quantitative measures of their initiatives—such as scope, scale, adoption and feature set—along with qualitative measures, such as innovation, creativity and new methods of delivery, over the past 12 months ended April 2023. In the 2023 WealthManagement.com Industry, Vestmark VAST was awarded first place in the Direct indexing/Technology Providers category vs. nine other entries. In the ThinkAdvisor 2023 Luminaries awards, Vestmark VAST was awarded first place in the Financial & Investment Innovation for Fintech/TAMP Platforms Category amongst 28 finalists. Vestmark did not pay to be considered for the awards.
