Vestmark Appoints Mark Donohue as Chief Financial Officer

Wakefield, MASeptember 5, 2018 Vestmark, the leading provider of portfolio management and trading solutions for financial advisors and institutions, today announced Mark Donohue as the firm’s new Chief Financial Officer.

Donohue joins Vestmark at a time of rapid growth. Most recently, the firm announced it surpassed $1 trillion in assets under management and over 3.4 million accounts managed on its SaaS offering, VestmarkONE®. He brings over 22 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience as well as an extensive background in strategy, planning, and operations. His career spans the technology, media and telecommunications industries at five public companies, an investment bank, and a market research firm. Donohue has an accomplished track record of building high performing teams, scaling business operations, and leading organizations through periods of high growth. As CFO, Donohue is responsible for overseeing Financial Planning, Corporate Development, Accounting, and Investor Relations, reporting to Vestmark’s CEO, John Lunny.

Prior to Vestmark, Donohue served nearly three years at Software as a Service (SaaS) provider Rapid7 in numerous executive roles including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Development, and Treasury & Investor Relations. During his tenure, he closed a strategic acquisition and led numerous efforts contributing to rapid business growth and stock appreciation. Before this, Donohue held multiple Director level positions at Cisco Systems and Starent Networks, navigating the companies through significant business transformations in the wake of shifting market dynamics in the mobile telecommunications industry. He also gained experience through his senior roles at IDC, Ferris Baker Watts, Teradyne and Quantum. He holds a BS in Business Administration & Finance from the University of New Hampshire, and received both his MBA and MS in Finance from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.
