Vestmark Takes First Place in “Best Places to Work” Award by Boston Business Journal

Wakefield, MAJuly 24, 2018 Vestmark, the leading provider of portfolio management and trading solutions for financial institutions and advisors, is honored to receive the number one ranking in the large business category in the Best Places to Work award program established by the Boston Business Journal. The yearly awards program recognizes companies that go above and beyond to cultivate dynamic work place environments.

This is Vestmark’s third time as an honoree of the Best Places to Work award and the first time the company was recognized in the large business category. Placement in the large business category is reflective of the firm’s substantial growth trajectory with an employee base of over 300 people.

“We’re thrilled to receive this award. Being the number one best place to work in the Boston area is quite an honor,” said John Lunny, CEO of Vestmark. “Despite how much we have grown over the course of the last few years, we’ve remained true to our founding tenets and sustaining a dynamic work culture. As we strive to attract and retain our industry’s top talent, this commitment is more important than ever.”

At Boston’s Symphony Hall on, June 20th, The Boston Business Journal celebrated 80 Massachusetts-based companies for creating and maintaining outstanding work environments for their employees. Final rankings were determined by Quantum Workplace through online surveys completed by employees from each firm, rating their respective work environment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, management, compensation and benefits.
