Vestmark's Heeren Pathak Named Advisory Solutions All-Star Achiever by the Money Management Institute

Wakefield, MA - May 15, 2012 - Heeren Pathak, Chief Technology Officer at Vestmark, a leading innovator of advisory solutions and wealth management technology, was awarded the Advisory Solutions All-Star Achiever Award by the Money Management Institute (MMI).

The All-Star Achiever Award recognizes individuals who have made the greatest contribution to an MMI committee or industry. In accordance with Vestmark's efforts towards advancing the overall fee-based advisory solutions industry, Mr. Pathak has contributed his time and talents to a broad range of MMI initiatives.

Currently Mr. Pathak is co-chair of the MASS Model Management sub-committee and co-chair of the overall MASS data standards committee. As part of his Model Management sub-committee role, Mr. Pathak led the formulation of the Business Requirements Model Management Standards and provided Vestmark's submission to the MMI to help develop the technical specifications for the Model Messaging standards.

For the overall MASS data standards committee, Mr. Pathak has provided continued leadership in identifying industry needs and launching new efforts to address these issues. For example, recently Mr. Pathak helped form the UMA Reporting sub-committee to address industry issues associated with data exchange in UMA and model-based programs. He volunteered his time for the planning committee for the MMI Technology Summit last November and will be assisting with the next Technology Summit. Mr. Pathak also worked with the MMI leadership to establish the governance framework by which the standards effort operates under today.

"Earning the All-Star Achiever Award is a great honor," said Mr. Pathak. "This award is a reflection of Vestmark's commitment to providing best practices and advancing advisory solutions to help our industry better meet the needs of the investors we serve."

John Lunny, CEO of Vestmark, notes, "Vestmark is focused on providing innovative technology to our clients and improving the overall advisory solutions industry. Heeren is an invaluable resource to Vestmark and we are thrilled he has been recognized for his continued hard work and dedication in furthering MMI initiatives."
